Dylan Voller

Dylan Voller is an Indigenous hip-hop artist from Alice Springs, now based in Sydney. His music is a powerful reflection of lived experience, shaped by his time in government care and the juvenile justice system.

Emerging as a national voice for Indigenous youth in incarceration, Dylan’s story led to a royal commission into child protection and juvenile justice practices. His music confronts the trauma of these experiences, addressing issues of mental health, systemic injustice, and resilience.

Dylan’s work is raw and unapologetic, using hip-hop as a vehicle to reclaim his narrative and amplify the voices of those still trapped in a broken system. His debut music videos, CHEDDAH and Bad Decision, serve as both artistic expression and a call to action, dedicated to survivors of institutional neglect. His music has also been praised by renowned artists such as Baaka, further cementing his place as an important new voice in Australian hip-hop.

In 2024, Dylan performed as a support act for Horrorshow’s 10-Year Anniversary Tour at the Araluen Arts Centre in Alice Springs. He has also performed at major events including Kobie Dee’s Block Party at the Powerhouse Museum, Corey Radio, Sydney NAIDOC events, and Brown St Utah. Beyond music, Dylan has shared his story and insights through keynote speeches at UTS, Macquarie University, and various high schools, using his platform to spark conversations about justice, healing, and the power of storytelling through music.

A long-awaited EP and the track Break Through are set for release later this year/late 2025, marking an exciting new chapter in Dylan’s artistic journey.
