GUTS Dance // Central Australia is a contemporary dance organisation based in Mparntwe/Alice Springs, founded in 2018 by artists Frankie Snowdon and Madeleine Krenek. Situated in one of the most remote regions in the world, GUTS is the only platform for contemporary dance training, creation and performance within a 1500 km radius. 

Driven by a fierce commitment to artistic excellence, regional equity, and community connection, GUTS supports brave and experimental dance practices while championing independent artists across remote Australia. As a regional stronghold in the national dance ecology, GUTS is redefining where great art is made and who gets to make it.
