We are a band that was born out of Mparntwe (Alice Springs) Watch This Space’s event Little Bands 2024. Much like the ethos and history of Little Bands, Meg Wright and the Wrong Girls, is a cover band that is all about showing how the music scene can be SILLY, open, inclusive, queer-friendly, and creatively wild. With our outlaw ethos, we cover songs ranging from bush ballads, to queer country, to the classics!

Our lineup is Meg Wright (vocals), Ben Monro (guitar, vocals), Chris O’Keefe (drums, vocals), Luke Steller (bass, trombone), and Matt Nixon (keys, voals). Our tunes will get your booty shaking and your voice sounding like a gravel road by sunrise.
