Desert Festival 2025 is almost here, and we need YOUR help to make it spectacular!

Desert Festival is Central Australia’s annual celebration of arts, culture, and community, offering a vibrant platform for Central Australian artists from diverse backgrounds and a range of artforms.

We’re looking for friendly, enthusiastic, and passionate people to join our volunteer crew. Whether it’s handling ticketing, managing the merch stall, assisting behind the bar, or helping festival attendees, there’s a range of positions to suit skill sets and interests.

Volunteers need to be

  • Aged 18 and above
  • Happy to embrace Desert Festival’s values
  • Available to work a minimum of 4 hours over the course of the festival, or 12 hours if volunteering for event planning (outside event delivery period)
  • Flexible, reliable and friendly!
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Available to attend a Volunteer Induction and any other necessary training required for their role.

Volunteer Induction & Trainings

  • All volunteers attend the induction session and undergo necessary training sessions.
