Fringe dwelling experiential spaces that bring together people and ideas to explore the heart and soul of the desert through multiple mediums and transitions
This immersive experience brings together a collaboration of artists in an experiential installation that integrates people, culture and lands by creating safe spaces that change the way people experience their surrounds and each other. Natural and synthetic materials and structures are combined with projected images and stories to create conversations and perceptual shifts that challenge and intersect with our communities and natural surrounds.
Voices from The Edge [Deep Listening]
Weds 27th September, 4-7pm
The audience is invited to an experience of Deep Listening to the important but less-heard voices of in our community. Speakers are Cultural Leaders and Change Makers including Mparntwe Traditional Owners, First Nations Elders, Leaders and Grandmothers, local change makers and thought leaders – who will share a stories of the many different perspectives that shape our colourful community.

A culmination of a collaborative, community artworks choreographed to come together in a collective ‘wow’ piece – an uplifting show of lights of projection and lanterns made from recycled and re-used materials during the course of the week (as part of a community project)
